SheSkates

Join us every Tuesday for an exhilarating and empowering skate experience tailored exclusively for girls! Our dynamic and inclusive sessions cater to all skill levels, from beginners eager to step on a skateboard for the first time to seasoned experts looking to refine their techniques. Led by a team of passionate and skilled primarily female instructors, our goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where girls can thrive and conquer the world on wheels.

From practicing basics like stance and pushing to advanced maneuvers and stylish tricks, each session is thoughtfully structured to accommodate individual progress while fostering a sense of community. We celebrate every achievement, big or small, and encourage a growth mindset that values perseverance and fun in equal measure. Individuality is held in high regard and particpants are encouraged to progress and grow at their own pace.

Progression is encouraged and participants have the option to particpate in our Olliewood Skate League contest in our girls division.

Weekly Agenda:

• 5:30pm - 6:00pm - Arrival, warm- up and social time.
• 6:00pm - 7:00pm -  Working Sessions begins. Participants divide into group based on weekly goals and seek to improve with the support of instructors and other skaters at the session. (Sample weeks goals: Kicking and pushing, kick turns, pumping, dropping in, and entry level tricks)
• 7:00pm - SheSkates concludes. Participants are encourages to stay for the open session at no extra cost.

Cost:

• Admission is only $10 for non-members
• Olliewood Support Members attend for $5
• Olliewood Premium and Olliewood Skatepark Members attend free of charge.
